Summer is DPI's busiest time for processing license applications, due to higher volume of applications received. It may take longer than usual to receive a reply. You may find the information you are looking for through a link on the TEPDL Home page.

To facilitate better service, please provide your 6 digit DPI Educator File Number in all communications with the department. Your file number is assigned when we receive your first license application and can be found by entering your name in the on-line License Lookup.

• All license applications that include fee payment must be mailed to DPI's Milwaukee Address. The Madison office cannot accept payments of any kind.
  
  
• All other mail, including correspondence and information/documentation submitted separate from original application, may be mailed to DPI's Madison Address.
