School-Age ParentsInfant Care and HealthAdoption Information on adoption in Wisconsin. Adoption Information Center Comprehensive information regarding all aspects of adoption. Badger Care+ BadgerCare Plus is a state program that provides comprehensive health insurance for uninsured, income-eligible families with dependent children. Birth to 3 Program Birth to 3 is Wisconsin's early intervention program for infants and toddlers with developmental delays and disabilities and their families. Information can be found on Wisconsin First Step, a toll-free information-and-referral service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Children with Special Health Care Needs This program works to improve systems of care for anyone from birth through age 21 with a chronic physical, developmental, behavioral or emotional illness or condition. Child Support Program The Wisconsin Child Support Program helps parents get court orders for financial and medical support for their children. It also enforces those orders when needed, and makes sure that all money collected is paid out correctly. Maternal and Child Health Program Family planning services, primary care, and assistance for children with special health care needs rather than being placed in a foster home or other type of out-of-home placement. Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Nutrition Program WIC provides supplemental nutritious foods, nutrition and breastfeeding information, and referral to other health and nutrition services for income-eligible families.
