What is the reporting deadline for the SPR?

The deadline is June 30.

How do schools and districts submit SPR data to DPI?

Schools and districts report school performance report data over the Internet using a web-based application.

Where is the web site for the SPR web-based data collection application?

The "URL" or web address for the SPR data collection application is:

You must have the appropriate passwords to access the web site for your school or district.

I noticed there are erroneous enrollment numbers for a school in my district. Where did those numbers come from? How can I change them?

Your district reported those enrollment numbers in its ISES Fall Enrollment Report. You cannot change the numbers or erroneous gender or race/ethnicity designations through the School Performance Report. It is critically important that you review the enrollment numbers each fall before the enrollment data is submitted to DPI. Once the enrollment data has been "frozen," it cannot be changed through the SPR or any other application.

Am I correct in assuming that if there is no data needed for a particular part I can just lock it as blank to insure that I have looked at the form and confirm we have nothing that fits that category?

If you have no data to report for particular files for particular schools, take care of the schools with data to report first. Then go to the district administration screen and click on the appropriate link in the fourth blue row to "lock all schools with no data." This saves time over locking individual empty forms.

How do I lock and submit data for the district?

After all data for a report has been entered and locked for all schools in your district, log on as the district from the Welcome screen, then go to the district administration screen and click on the "Lock & Submit to DPI" link. The "Lock & Submit to DPI" link will appear only when all of the schools for a given report are locked.

When all data is locked, can I at the district level later unlock and change? If so, until when? Also, how will DPI know when I have finished everything?

You can unlock individual school files up until the time that you click on the "Lock and Submit to DPI" links on the district administration screen. After you click on those links, you will have to e-mail the DPI SPR coordinator to ask to have a file or files unlocked. You must lock and submit these files to complete reporting.

Questions or comments regarding the School Performance Report should be directed to the SPR Coordinator, (608) 267-9619.
