Wisconsin Library Information Technology Advisory Committee (LITAC)Established in June 2000, the primary purpose of the State Superintendent's Library Information Technology Advisory Committee is to advise the superintendent and the department's Division for Libraries, Technology, and Community Learning on library and information technology issues and division technology programs and initiatives. Some specific purposes of the committee:
The committee has members representative of the state's library community and other key stakeholders. The committee usually meets three times annually, and all meetings are open to the library community and the general public. Meetings are held at the Reference and Loan Library in Madison. Any questions on the role and purposes of the Library Information Technology Advisory Committee should be directed to Bob Bocher (608) 266-2127, robert.bocher@dpi.wi.gov or Sally Drew (608) 224-6161, sally.drew@dpi.wi.gov.
