The email should be forwarded to all individuals within your district who work with the ISES. The email reflects district status as of 7AM on Monday, November 21st.

Both the ISES applications for YE/CD/CC and Discipline are incomplete for your district. The ISES Year End (2010-11), 3rd Friday of September (2011-12) and October 1 Child Count data are due Wednesday, November 23rd. The ISES Discipline (2010-11) collection is past due.

ISES YE / CD / CC is not locked until the following message is displayed in GREEN text on the ISES Main Menu 'District data has been submitted and is locked. Certain functions within the ISES are unavailable.'

ISES Discipline is not locked until the message 'District ISES Discipline records are locked. No modification of discipline data is allowed.' appears in GREEN text on the Discipline Main Menu.

Complete and accurate ISES data are critical to making reliable accountability decisions. Graduation and attendance rates for all students are evaluated at the school and district levels, and used to determine whether or not schools and districts are meeting the state defined criteria as part of adequate yearly progress (AYP). Failure to submit timely and accurate data can also negatively affect your district’s determination level in meeting the requirements of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
