District Individual Student Enrollment System (ISES) Status

DATE: June 29, 2005 (sent via email and paper mail)
TO: District Administrators
FROM: Anthony S. Evers, Deputy State Superintendent
Department of Public Instruction
SUBJECT: District Individual Student Enrollment System (ISES) Status

Attached you will find a document that describes your district's Individual Student Enrollment System (ISES) status. While you will likely pass this important information on to those in your district who are working on this project, I encourage you to note the deadlines, especially the July 18 deadline.

Thank you and your staff members for your attention to this project and your continued efforts to make this statewide system work. Only the successful completion of the work by all 426 school districts will ensure a fully integrated statewide system of student data. When we reach that stage, we will not only meet federal requirements but, more importantly, also provide you and your staff the data you need to make wise instructional decisions.

As noted in the attachment, further information and help are available by calling ISES phone support at (800) 507-5744.

(Attachment content varied slightly depending on individual district status.)
