SUBJECT:	WSLS Spring Race / Ethnicity Training

PLEASE DISTRIBUTE THIS MESSAGE TO ALL DISTRICT STAFF WORKING IN WSLS.

WSLS SPRING RACE / ETHNICITY TRAINING

The WSLS / ISES Help Desk suggests that all district staff working with the WSLS attend one of the upcoming race / ethnicity training sessions. Several sessions are available in May to inform districts of the additional tasks which should be addressed in June prior to the race / ethnicity transition. Districts which neglect to complete these suggested tasks in June may have additional tasks to complete in the summer and fall. District staff who are unable to attend should review the training handouts.

These sessions will be held live, on-line using a web conferencing tool. District staff may attend a session from any computer equipped with sound or a headset. A client version of the web conferencing software must be installed, free of charge, prior to attendance. The install should take only a few minutes.
