We must have a lucky rabbits foot because our webinar held on Thursday, April 21st, brought a lot of great participation and questions. Although DPI does NOT endorse any one vendor we work with all vendors to support end users at the district level. In response to requests we are now featuring vendors during our bi-weekly webinars. On April 21st we featured Skyward. The following is the webinar schedule with those vendors that have agreed to participate thus far. Additional dates can be added if needed. We will be actively seeking participation from all vendors.

  • (06/16/11)1:00 PM to 2:30 PM General Q&A Session: TBD

  • (06/02/11)1:00 PM to 2:30 PM General Q&A Session: TBD

  • (05/19/11)1:00 PM to 2:30 PM General Q&A Session: PowerSchool

Update-No hare brained idea: To accommodate user situations in the field for “High School Credits Earned” a numeric value between 0 and 10. Valid decimal values are .0, .125, .166, .167, .25, .333, .375, .5, .625, .666, .667, .75 and .875 in addition now… “.2”, “.222”, “.3”, “.4” “.444”, and “.888” which is planned to be in production on April 27th.

We are not cracking up. What do you think? Based on conversations with districts perhaps we need to add other options regarding reporting terms. What and how many reporting terms do you feel are necessary to meet scheduling needs? Please contact the Help Desk with your input.

Thanks for your continued effort with CWCS.
