School Breakfast Program


Description

More than 8.1 million children across the United States start their day with the School Breakfast Program, a Federal program that provides States with cash assistance for non-profit breakfast programs in schools and residential child care institutions.

Who is Eligible to Apply:

Public and non-profit private schools and residential child care institutions.

Amount of Funds Available:

The SBP is a federal reimbursement program. For more information on current reimbursement rates, please go to: DPI School Breakfast Program Financial, Counting & Claiming webpage.

Application Due Date:

Applications are accepted year-round.
