Cheese Processing Program - Information, Forms and Instructions


For agencies receiving USDA foods through the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), the Cheese Processing Program is an optional program, wherein participating schools will use a competitive bid process to determine the vendor(s) whom they will order finished end-products from, as well as commit pounds of bulk mozzarella cheese to the chosen vendor(s). On the online annual USDA food order survey, participating agencies will indicate these selections on the order survey and enter their pound commitment(s) to the vendor(s).
