Wisconsin's Prevent Violence Against Children Act requires child care providers and preschool teachers to attend an approved training on Shaken Baby Syndrome Prevention. If you are a child care provider planning to take SBS Prevention training, please check the List of Authorized Trainers for Child Care Provider Shaken Baby Syndrome Prevention Training to make sure the person offering the training is approved. Otherwise your training will not meet the requirement.

If you would like to become an approved trainer - qualified to train other child care providers using the approved SBS Curriculum - you must attend a 3-hour train-the-trainer session offered by a Child Care Resource & Referral Agency or by these Family Resource Centers:
